NFL Issues Indefinite Suspension for Cowboys DE Randy Gregory Due to past suspensions, 2018 was Gregory's first full year in the NFL despite being drafted in 2015 in the
second round out of Nebraska. The defensive end has only played in
28 games in four seasons. All of the suspensions stem from Gregory's violations of the NFL's substance abuse policy. This latest one comes after he broke terms of a conditional reinstatement
issued last July. Gregory was previously banned for the entire
2017 season and 14 games the year before.
