The much awaited Sports Bill will finally be tabled in the Cabinet meeting today by Sports Minister Ajay Maken. The Bill proposes some major changes that will change the way sports bodies function in the country. The federation bosses fear that their fiefdoms will come to an end, if the Bill is passed. The sports minister insists that the Bill will not intrude on the sporting bodies, but will help clean up their act.
