India: Intelligence Bureau (IB) reportedly alerted thierteen states informing about plans of several militant groups who were likely to target seven airports of the country. Airports, which have come under tight vigil following the recent terror alert, were -- Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in Delhi, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, Chennai International Airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati and Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) in Bangalore.

The security on these airports have been increased.
