The media seems to be fair game in the country. In Bangalore lawyers suddenly turned against journalists, utter mayhem ruling for over 2 hours as the police simply stood by and watched. The Chief Minister has ordered a judicial inquiry but the Karnataka government has been hostile towards the media ever since it exposed its sleazegate ministers. There has been no arrest yet in yesterday's attack by lawyers on media persons in Bangalore. Lawyers in Bangalore attacked the media apparently over the bad blood raised with their portrayal as causing inconvenience to the common man during their January stir.
