In Uttarakhand, the Indian National Congress is projected to be the largest party with exit poll saying 32 for them and 26 for the BJP. The BJP's efforts to neutralize anti-incumbency in Uttarakhand by reinstating B C Khanduri as the chief minister, six months ahead of state elections doesn't seem to have paid off. If the survey projections were to come true then this would be Congress's best performance yet in terms of vote-share in the three Assembly elections that have been held in the State so far.
