India News : Ahmedabad: Self-proclaimed spiritual guru Asaram Bapu finds himself embroiled in yet another controversy. A teen from Jodhpur in Rajasthan has accused the 72-year-old godman of sexually assaulting her at his Jodhpur ashram in Rajasthan earlier this month. The godman had purportedly threatened to eliminate the victim's parents if she revealed the incident to anyone.

The girl informed her parents, staunch supporters of Bapu, about her ordeal on 17 August. The parents approached the Kamla Market police two days later. From there the alleged victim was sent to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital for a medical examination.
