In a surprise move, Pakistan on Monday has invited militant groups, including the Taliban, for peace talks. Pakistan is offering the banned groups that they would be delisted if they closed down their "militant wings". Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik himself told reporters all this during an interaction in Islamabad. Malik said his government had been contacted by "several banned organizations that want to sit and talk".
