India News : India News Editor In Chief Deepak Chaurasia in his programme - Tonight with Deepak Chaurasia has tried to find out the falloff Advani era after Modi naming as a Prime Ministerial candidate.

Gujrat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is the Prime Ministerial canduidate for 2014 general election , party president Rajnath Singh announced here. However, Modi's elevation failed to get the blessings of party patriarch and convenor of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) LK Advani, who stayed away from the parliamentary board meeting after getting ready to attend it.

Instead, he wrote a letter to party president Rajnath Singh expressing his disappointment with the way the affairs of the party were conducted.
Advani had asked Singh to postpone the decision on Modi's candidature till the end of upcoming Assembly elections. Later this year, five states -- Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Delhi and Mizoram are to go to polls. Of these, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh have BJP governments.
