UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav met with the prime Minister at 7 RCR. Central assistance for development in the state was said to be on the agenda. According to sources a discussion over the Presidential candidate could have also taken place. Akhilseh Yadav, after the meeting, said that he didn't ask for allocation of any new funds, rather he asked for the release of already allocated funds. He has asked for allocation of funds for welfare schemes.
