Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Friday said senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley could be given the post of deputy prime minister if the National Democratic Alliance forms next government.
At Jaitley's first rally here, Badal hailed the BJP senior leader, pitching him as the future deputy PM or finance minister if the NDA is voted to power under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
Badal's comment will surely create ruffles within BJP.
