It is Day 4 of the Air India pilots' strike that HC has termed illegal. The face-off between AI management, and striking pilots is now degenerating into a farce even as more pilots have been sacked. The pilots' guild refuses to call off the protest. The Airline Management has now moved Supreme Court, seeking implementation of the HC's order that gave a rap on the knuckles to the pilots and called their strike illegal. The Airline is not taking any bookings upto May 15th, a clear indication that it has no expectations of the crisis resolving in the next one week.
