In a blistering attack, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said his party believed in development with a human face, protecting the interests of poors and farmers, instead of the so-called Gujarat model that had enriched the rich in the western state.

"They do big talk about development, giving away nation's wealth into the hands of one or two people. We also want to build roads, bridges and set up industries, generate employment, but not at the cost of the poor and taking away land owned by farmers", he said at an impressive election rally in industrial town of Korba.
