In a bid to promote budding designers, the grand finale of the Lakme Fashion Week saw actress Kareena Kapoor walk the ramp for emerging talents Kallol Datta and husband-wife duo Pankaj and Nidhi. The designers put up a scintillating show for the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive grand finale last night which received a standing ovation from the audience including renowned designer Rohit Bal. Usually established designers like Manish Malhotra, Rohit Bal, Narendra Kumar, Tarun Tahiliani are allotted the grand finale slot, but this time younger designers were given the chance to bring the curtains down on the five-day fashion extravaganza.
