In Ajmer, a mob was cane-charged after it attacked the police officials helping Municipal authorities remove some encroachments in the city. The encroachers had been given notice and their illegal constructions were removed on Thursday. But they refused to vacate the land. And on Sunday they were back in strength resisting the police force. The mob manhandled one of the Sub inspectors Vidya Meena, who has filed a case against some of the miscreants.
