There has been raging controversy over Sai statues in temples where other Hindu gods are worshipped. There has been a protest to remove Sai Baba statue from temples saying that he was not a god.Uma who is herself known as Sadhvi has said that Sai Baba never said that he is reincarnation of god but his followeres gave him such a respect and place.
