Dengue continues to spread its tentacles in the capital and in the states. In New Delhi, 38 persons have tested positive for dengue over the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases this season to 910, a new record. Nearly 200 cases were reported In Ghaziabad, one person has died of the illness in the city so far. In Gurgaon, alongside the rise in number of cases, a woman has reportedly lost her eyesight due to dengue. Dengue is also causing several other ailments. Beyond the NCR, the number of cases has cross the 125 mark in Patna. In Dehradun and Roorkee nearly 70 cases have been confirmed and in Varanasi there have been more than a dozen cases.
