Botsa Satyanarayana Rao is the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee Chief. He is also the Minister of Transport in the Andhra Government. He is a sitting MLA and a former MP from Bobbili. The marriage of Botsa Satyanarayana Rao's daughter brought the entire district to a standstill. Throwing caution to the wind Botsa blatantly misused public funds and public authority. It was indeed a show of extravagance and pomp.
