The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is holding a protest outside the Irish embassy in Delhi over the death of Savita Halappanavar, a dentist who was denied an abortion in Ireland due to the country's controversial abortion laws. Earlier in the day, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid said India's envoy to Ireland will today formally raise New Delhi's concerns over the death of Savita.
