Still no end to the standoff on FDI in retail issue in Parliament, on the 4 day of Winter Session. Both the houses have been adjourned till thursday. Both houses had to be adjourned till noon almost immediately on meeting at 11 this morning. When they met again at noon, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm and the Rajya Sabha for the day. This will be the 4th day of the session washed out over the issue. Meanwhile, the BJP's Parliamentary Party which met this morning has decided to stick to its guns on FDI in Retail demanding a discussion under Rule 184 that entails voting, putting the onus for ensuring Parliament runs on the government. They have so far only been offered a discussion.
