Former Gujarat deputy Chief Minister Narhari Amin has resigned from the Congress. There are also talks that he will join the BJP very soon. Sources say that Amin met Chief Minister Narendra Modi twice. Modi reportedly offered him the post of Gujarat Cricket Association president. If Amin accepts, his formal entry into party could be announced in a day or two. Meanwhile, while BJP leaders said they had no knowledge about the development, the Congress reacted stating that Amin's exit won't impact the party.
