Panaji: Goa Police will conduct a preliminary inquiry into allegations of sexual misconduct levelled by a journalist against editor-in-chief of Tehelka newsweekly Tarun Tejpal, Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar said.

The National Commission for Women (NCW) said on Thursday it would probe the alleged sexual assault on a female journalist by Tehelka magazine editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal if the matter is brought before it.
