Another such shocking complaint has been registered from Panch Mahal district in Gujarat. A 15-year-old girl's father has claimed that his daughter was picked up by a boy she had earlier been engaged to be married. Later on as the marriage had been called off, the prospective groom was consumed with a desire for revenge. He allegedly forced the girl to an isolated spot and raped her. The alleged rapist also had two friends along and the girl's father has named them as accomplices and not rapists. The father also alleges that police have been very insensitive in treatment of his minor daughter whose medical treatment has been hampered due to police intervention.
