Shocked by the numerous rape cases, most of them not concluding in speedy justice, a PIL has been filed in the Supreme Court. The PIL is to be admitted today and it seeks suspension of a MP or MLA if a chargesheet was filed against him in a case of crime against women. But given that there are tainted MPs and MLAs who have contested and won elections, it speaks about how vulnerable the women citizens of the country are where the guardians and lawmakers themselves indulge in such acts.
