The Aam aadmi Patry took on the Sheila Dikshit govt in Delhi, blaming it for being hand in glove with the power distribution companies and burdening common man with heavy tariff. Kejriwal said that the reduction in tariff is likely to be sustained in the future years as well, since the energy availability from new power plants is going to increase substantially. He also said that after 11 years of privatization, electricity prices are increasing and no one has benefitted from the same.
