Rajnath's authority in the BJP is openly questioned. Yashwant Sinha has said that the dharma sansad should have endorsed the candidature of Narendra Modi. He also said it would be good if Modi becomes the candidate Hema Malini has also said that Modi is the right choice. Rajnath had recently said that none in the party should speak about the party's Prime Ministerial candidate.
