Former Air chief marshal S Krishnaswamy, IAF chief has defended his successor SP Tyagi in the Chopper deal. He maintains that Tyagi could not have changed the requirements. While going on to say that both the first tendering which was cancelled and the one that happened in 2010 produced single vendor situation. There is no second choice even today.
