The much-hyped draft of the anti-rape bill has been approved by the union cabinet after days of disagreements over various clauses. Now, the ball is in the parliament's court. Will the parliament approve the bill in this session? Will there be consensus? Parliament must pass bill before it goes into recess on March 22. This is crucial as it will have to replace an ordinance which will expire on April 4.
