The Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh has on Saturday raised concern over what it calls as the abnormal growth of the Muslim population in the country. The RSS blames the infiltration from neighbouring Bangladesh as one of the main reasons for the same. The issue was discussed during the ongoing Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha at Jamdoli on the outskirts of Jaipur. Krishna Gopal the Jt Secy of the RSS briefed the media yesterday with statistics blamed on infiltration for one. The RSS leader says the population of the Muslims at the time of Independence was 8 percent and it has increased by a per cent every decade. It now stands at 14.5 percent and that the present UPA govt is creating a major divide between the minorities and the majority through its minority-appeasement policies.
