Even as the DMK has not ruled out the possibility of a last-minute rapprochement provided the UPA secured from Parliament a harshly-worded resolution condemning Sri Lanka, the pullout is being attributed to DMK keen on projecting itself as the champion of Tamil cause at all costs.
