Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, who had raised an open rebellion within party ranks by refusing to resign from the CM’s post, has been expelled from Janata Dal (United) for “anti-party activities”. The controversy has further intensified the already-spiralling political crisis in the state.
