The standoff between Delhi Police and workers of Aam AAdmi Party ended in New Delhi after protests and clashes between the two. The protesters retreated to Sundari Nagar where Arvind Kejriwal is protesting. The protesters returned with nearly 8 lakh letters which they intended to hand over to Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. Earlier in the day, AAP Members who were marching towards Delhi CM's residence were stopped by Delhi police. Over 20-25 members of AAP wwere detained. Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal is sitting on an indefinite fast against inflated power and water bills. It's 10 th day of his fast today. The party alleges that the price of electricity and water had increased many folds in the capital due to corruption.
