Supreme Court has dismissed CP Joshi's petition against the election of BJP's Kalyan Singh from the Raj-samand assembly constituency. The apex court earlier ordered recounting of the votes since it had been proved that bogus voting was done in favour of Singh in the 2008 elections, which Joshi lost by a single vote. The bogus votes were eliminated before the recounting, which then threw a tie between Singh and Joshi.
