The main eye witness in the Narayan Sai case, Mahendra Chawla, was shot at on Wednesday in Panipat by an unidentified gunman. He was later admitted to a hospital and is said to be critical. On April 16, the Gujarat high court had granted conditional bail of three weeks to Narayan Sai, son of self-proclaimed godman Asaram Bapu.
