External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi in Hotel Bentley, London on the evening of 16 October 2014, as per the sources. On 16 October 2014 at around 8 pm in the evening the cabinet Foreign Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj entered the Hotel Bentley discreetly hidden in the residential area of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Just before that the Hotel was sanitised. A group of Indian origin people who wanted to meet the Indian Minister Sushma Swaraj were asked to leave the Hotel for the security reasons. They were told that the minister was not meeting anyone from India or people of Indian origin that evening.
