Two Uttar Pradesh police officials were suspended on Monday after a woman accused them of setting her on fire after a failed bid to rape her at a police station. The woman, aged 40, was admitted in a Lucknow hospital with serious burn injuries. The woman said she had gone to meet the officials - station house officer Rai Saheb Yadav and sub-inspector Akhilesh - at the police station on Sunday to inquire about her husband who had been detained.
