NewsX: CPI(M) leader Bhaskar Majumdar shot dead in Loba village of Birbhum district under Dubrajpur Police Station. Bullets were allegedly fired by Trinamool supporters who were a part of a bike gang circling the area. CPIM has alleged that the bike gang was pressuring CPIM candidates from withdrawing their nomination from panchayat polls.
