NewsX: The Union Health Ministry has deputed three teams which will review public health measures in the flood-ravaged Uttarakhand days after rescue operations came to an end in the hill State.
The central public health teams have been assigned to Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh and Udhamsingh Nagar, according to a statement by the Ministry.
A three-member team from National Institute of Mental Health and Neuroscience, Bangalore is en route to join the psycho-social relief work being carried out in the State and five Medical Officers from CGHS, Kanpur have also reached Dehradun on Wednesday, the statement said.
