NewsX: Four of the eight blasts took place inside the Mahabodhi temple, seen by many as one of the holiest places in Buddhism.

Three bombs went off in the Karmapa Monastery compound and one went off just by the sacred Bodhi tree under which Gautama Buddha is believed to have gained Enlightenment.
