Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Monday visited the Shakur Basti in Delhi where a anti-encroachment drive organised by Indian Railways allegedly caused the death of a six month-old child and demolished around 500 slums. Rahul Gandhi interacted with resident of Shakur basti who lost their homes and are now being forced to live in freezing conditions and are battling the extreme cold.
