Following the Jat Community agitation which turned violent today, the state administration has called in the army in few districts, including Rohtak to further curb violence.

Earlier during the day, one person was killed and several others were injured as the agitating Jat community intensified their protest demanding reservation for the community in government jobs and educational institutions.

According to reports, the Delhi-Ambala railway line was blocked by protestors hitting train services on the route.
