Indian Airlines plane IC-814: IC-814 was hijacked while on its way from Kathmandu to Delhi. The plane that was finally forced to land in Kandahar was carrying 11 crew members and 179 passengers mostly returning from their holidays.After 7 days of negotiations the passengers were eventually allowed to return with the plane only when Indian Govt of India agreed to the demands of the hijackers and freed 3 terrorists lodged in Jammu jail. But not before one passenger Rupin Katyal returning from his honeymoon was brutally stabbed to death.
