While there was excitement following reports that former India captain Sourav Ganguly has been offered a BJP ticket to contest the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, the cricketer on Saturday confirmed that he has declined the proposal.Scores of people participated in the 'Run for Unity' marathon held here and elsewhere in Andhra Pradesh today, organised on the occasion of 63rd death anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Former India cricketer VVS Laxman was among those who participated.
