Attorney general Mukul Rohtagi has told the government that there was enough evidence to prosecute former telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran in the Aircel Maxis case, paving way for the CBI to file a chargesheet in the case.
The AG has agreed with the other officers, such as the investigating officer and the additional director general etc, that there was enough evidence to stand scrutiny in court and disagreed with the CBI director, sources said.
