'A Congress leader proposes, Sonia Gandhi disposes'. It has been cleared that Rahul Gandhi will not be named as the party's Prime Ministerial candidate, despite a holler from Congress party leaders, attending a crucial Congress committee meeting in Delhi.
Sonia Gandhi clearly stated, "Rahul will be the campaign leader and not the Prime Ministerial candidate for Congress".
Arun Jaitely had a retort to this, and was noted claiming, "When the party has realized the truth that they will not be forming the government this time, it was important for them to take a decision like this."
This was an important decision which reached out the country by none other than the party chief Sonia Gandhi and it looks like giving such a decision just before a day to the All India Congress working committee meet, it was a big blunder as people are more likely to lose their interest in the public meetings and speeches by Congress leaders especially their very own 'Shehzada'.
Congress seems to be in a leadership crisis; Manmohan Singh's leadership has clearly created an appetite for Narendra Modi or Arvind Kejriwal.
