The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal appears to have been going on junkets abroad with a coterie of favourite bureaucrats, all at the expense of the public exchequer. Information obtained under the RTI Act has revealed that money has been spent on business class tickets, staying in five star hotels, obtaining a package from the well known tour operator Thomas Cook and Company and even for pocket money for the Deputy CM and his entourage.
