Italy recalled its ambassador Daniele Mancini for consultations citing India's "obvious incapacity" to handle the case involving two of its marines who are accused of killing two fishermen off the Indian coast.
The Italian Foreign Minister issued a statement saying that it had taken the decision following the 'unacceptable postponement' by the Supreme Court which is hearing the case.
