Intelligence agencies could be tantalizingly close to nabbing Indian Mujahideen's (IM) current India commander Tehsin Akhtar alias Monu, wanted for a series of terrorist strikes in major Indian cities.
Coming days after the arrest of IM's Pakistani bomb-maker Zia-ur-Rehman alias Waqas, the arrest of Monu, expected to materialize very soon, could wipe out the known leadership of IM in India. The main brains behind the IM, however, continue to reside in Pakistan under the patronage of the ISI and Lashkar chief Hafiz Saeed.
