A verbal spat erupted between JD (U) and BJP MLAs during Rajya Sabha polls for six seats in Bihar on Thursday.
Amid reports of cross voting, two women MLAs from BJP and JD (U) exchanged verbal blows over switching loyalty from one party to another.
BJP's Bhagirathi Devi and JD (U)'s Manju Verma got involved in a verbal spat after the former recalled Verma for switching loyality for RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal United have joined hands for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls in Bihar.
The JD (U) leader had sought Lalu's support for two Rajya Sabha seats for the coming bypoll in the state. "I have talked to Lalu Prasad, Congress state chief Ashok Choudhary, its legislature party leader Sadanand Singh and CPI secretary Rajendra Singh seeking their support for victory of two JDU candidates in the bypoll to Rajya Sabha in Bihar.
