Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal attacked the BJP-led government at the Centre for spiraling inflation and steep hike in the gas price.
The party also wanted the Central government to reconsider the decision of a possible hike in gas prices.
AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, before the election, had promised to reduce the price of essential commodities but in the last one month, prices have been increased, leading to public outrage. "It is being seen that your government is resorting to increasing prices without eradicating corruption and this will not solve any problem. The extra money generated from such hikes is pilferage," Mr Arvind Kejriwal said in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The former Delhi chief minister also slammed the government's proposed move to increase gas price and alleged that such a move would only benefit Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance.
