Delhi Police has arrested suspected Indian Mujahideen (IM) member Ejaz Sheikh from Saharanpur area of western Uttar Pradesh, as per news reports on Saturday.
Sheikh used to make fake identity cards for the members of the terror group and is considered to be a “technical expert”.
"IM operative Ejaz Sheikh has been arrested. He was nabbed from Saharanpur last night. He was involved in several terror cases including the Jama Masjid attack," Special Commissioner (Special Cell) S N Shrivastava told
Police has also reportedly recovered few electronic items from his possession.
Sheikh is wanted in several cases including 2010 Jama Masjid attack case which coincided with the anniversary of 2008 Batla House encounter in Delhi.
